The most significant addition will be the addition of 80 new Pokémon from the Johto region aka Generation 2 aka the best generation.
Speaking on the new update, some Pokemon we'll see added later this week are the starters Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. Apart from this, there will also be two new berries - Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries.
